Hmmm

I really have to wonder about you GH, are you bored?
Do you lack attention at home?
Are you frustrated?
Are you like 14 yr. old?
What?
Yeah, in other counties dogs are eaten, so are rats, roaches and other creepy crawly things:drool:, why don’t you start there and get back to us.

:yay:

I've seen enough episodes of Bizzare Foods. Watching and doing are totally different.

I wonder if they eat feces in other countries, you know... "2nd harvest"
(think nuts and corn)

Are you like 14 yr. old? Multiply by 2, add ten. PM me if you aren't able to come up with the correct answer.
What? Read the original post at the very top of this thread. I really hate clueless people.

If you're going to attemp to insult me then you'll have to do a much better job, otherwise you're just wasting my time. A fair try though!

I was at the shelter the other day checking out the dogs and it dawned on me..... With all these dogs up for adoption that will most likely be put to sleep why not farm them and use them as food? I've eaten dog before and it's very tasty when properly prepared. Other countries do it why not us.... To the shelter - I'll be researching the legalities of adopting your dogs and raising them as food on my property. No worries, they will be treated very well and fed like celeberties to fatten them up. While I conduct my research perhaps others can chime in so I can get a feel for the dog meat market in the area before I get in over my head.

Here's my slogan - Dog, it's what's for dinner. Similar to the beef slogan a few years back but better IMO.

I would have no problem with them taking out the rabbit and deer population however I can not see America eating an animal (cat, dog, hamster, horse etc) that we spend hundreds of dollars on per year because we are of the mind set that these animals are a member of the family..........

True that our perception of dogs has been elevated to a ridiculous level.....

Think of how inexpensive it would be to breed dogs for food... People could still have pet dogs just as some people have pet pigs and rabbits, even chickens. Horse meat is terrible so there's no market for it in my opinion (other than dog food of course). When my last dog was old to the point he needed to be euthenized we chose to shoot him and eat him instead. In a strange way he will always be a part of us now. What a comforting feeling!

WOW, that is just DISTURBING!
I dont own a dog and don't care to ever own a dog, I am surprised that more dog owners haven't torn you to shreds already!!

Maybe when you are too old and need to be put down, someone will shoot you & eat you instead of having to pay funeral costs:shrug:

Most dog owners are to docile and kind to "shred" me to pieces over my tastes for fine cuisine.

I would hope that when I'm gone we as a society are past the stigma of eating our fellow man. I would be honored to become my fellow man's feast when I am too old and ill to enjoy what little time I have left. I guess what I'm really trying to say is....Eat Me!

Yes, but he still provided us with vital nutrients. Technically speaking we only crapped out the parts we didn't really need......

I'll come clean..... I've never eaten dog nor would I ever want to. This thread was started in an attempt to ruffle feathers (it started to work) and to see how many poeple around here would admit to actually wanting to eat dog. There's a few, thanks for the cheap entertainment!

I don't own a dog but if I did I would name him SMIB in honor of all you wacky locals willing to eat dogs.

Thanks for playing,

GH

Sonsie

The mighty Al-Sonsie!
yes very simliar to beef although I hear every breed tastes slightly different. I've only eaten a few different breeds and they all tasted the same to me.....

Pigeon is also very good, but unfortunately it's hard to find on a menu outside of China or France.

By the way... Cats taste better than dog and are plentiful in Vietnam if you ever get the craving.

Oops look at the time, scruffy smells the his brother boiling away and he's getting anxious. Gotta run!

Cats taste better? I can't imagine cat tasting good, even my porky eunuch boy cat with his undoubtedly well-marbled flesh would have to be rank.
