we are expanding our plastic recycling program to include #3 thru #7 plastics (narrow & screw top containers) in addition to #1 & #2 that we already collect

That's also a big plus. I always hated throwing those containers away.

Really. When I was at St Andrews Sunday it was still separate.

That's because it all goes into the same landfill!

Alternatively, sorting recycleables has become a jobs program.

Took the recyclables to the Charlotte Hall transfer station on Sunday. The recycle bins for plastic/glass/metal were full to overflowing and still seperate from the paper. This change will make life easier for me.
