So you are saying that they will not, in the future, be paying the county a total annual tax amount that is more than they have in the past? That is not how I understood it. Links?

The commissioners' meetings are televised and recorded. You will find hundreds of quotes there from the commissioners themselves about their uncertainty that Dominion will pay taxes in the future. Hell, if they believed Dominion would pay, there would be no reason for these tax increases on people who always pay the freight.

We'll know in less than 2 years if they pay anything. I really don't understand people like you who defend those who buy special deals for themselves and hide behind non-disclosure agreements.

Actually what the Commissioners, through a couple different Boards, have said is that they won't count the money as "in the pot" until the check has been cashed. Which is usually in response to some special pleading from one group or another which uses the "Well you're going to get Dominion money" when they're told no.
None of the Commissioners, not one, has ever stated doubts about the money coming in, just that it won't be spent, or even allocated to a future program, until it's in the County Treasurer's account.

At least I have not lost my ability to use critical thinking skills...as you apparently have. You spew..you do not put forth one single tiny piece of actual solid evidence to support your spew.

Makes perfect sense. Especially given the fairly large delta between the low and high estimates.
I find it interesting they waited til AFTER the primaries to have the tax increase vote!

The primaries and subsequent election for this Board of Commissioners were in 2014. They aren't up for reelection, or not, this year.
