Reheating Pizza

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....
Put a skillet on a burner turned on medium.
In the mean time, nuke the slice(s) for 1.5 minutes.
Then slide them into the hot, dry pan.
Cook until the crust is nice and toasty.
Eat & enjoy.

I can eat cold pizza any time, day or nite.

And I agree, I think the convection toaster is another name for an air fryer.

Vrai: Air fryers are the bomb! This is what WE use...

Monello: Just a toaster oven. And BTW, a pan works just fine.

This was my xmas present last year. It replaced our hand-me-down bucket air fryer and little toaster oven. Toasts my stepson's waffles in the morning, air-fries my son's chicken nuggies for lunch, and roasts some veggies for dinner. Hardly had to use the regular oven this summer. And flips up outta the way 👍

Made a boboli pizza last night- sauce, pepperoni, artichokes, spinach, black olives and two cheeses. Eating it cold right now for breakfast.

I know people love their air fryers but I always figured I'd have to relearn how to cook if I bought one. I do have a (gas) convection oven that I hate to admit, we hardly ever use the convection setting. But the husband had to have it LOL

We use a Nordic Ware microwave griddle. Pre-heat for 6 minutes, then reheat for 3.

I have several microwave items from Nordic Ware but have never seen this. What else do you use it for?

BTW I do re-heat my pizza in an air oven. You can get them as cheap as $30 at ollies or online during black friday so I don't see any real reason to avoid buying one. The good ones have trays like a toaster oven.

Ah - ok. Yes, from experience, I've found that COOKING anything in the air fryer works great so long as it is something that tends not to make a MESS when cooked - e.g. frying anything like chicken or oysters that have been freshly battered and breaded. It does a GREAT job at cooking things intended to be heated in an oven or fried but NOT particularly messy - nuggets, fries, burritos, egg rolls and so forth.

Re-heating just about anything is great. We use it often on McDonald's fries that have gotten cold and on Texas Toast.

Grumpy dislikes GBC is why he mentioned it. Like every TG here on this forum when GBC is mentioned you have the lovers and haters of that mess. The war started in another thread.

I like naked chicken. No flour. Wings are great made in Air Fryer. Toss them in a little avocado oil and salt and pepper. Cook for your desired crunch. :yum:

Primarily for reheating pizza, but on occasion things like ham steaks or lean burgers.

However our George Foreman grill gets much more use for cooking steaks, brats, Italian sausage and the like.
