Reliable Computer Repair

My husband's laptop is messed up again. This is the same laptop that geek squad supposedly fixed last year. Does anyone know of a reliable decently priced computer repair business in the Lusby/California/Lexington Park areas? TIA

I took my desktop 'puter to ISSI (the old Skate Station on 235). They cleaned and "wiped" the harddrive; took Windows ME off and installed XP.
Costed me something like $110; and I was without a computer for 2 or 3 days, but since then, I haven't had any problems.....knock-on-wood.

I also got Spybot, Adaware and AVG A/V from a buddy of mine. I installed them and I run them every day.....NO problems.

Thanks :) Do they give you a back up disk too?

I don't know what the issue is at this point so I'm hoping it's a quick fix. Geek squad installed a new hard drive and then 4 months later it crashed again and we found out from the idiots at geek squad that that happens a lot. The company they got the hard drive from sent us another one no charge, but we never received a back up disk or anything for the windows XP. I am not sure if this is the norm or not but it's frustrating.

No, they didn't. But, when I got my stuff back from them, I got everything hooked back up and immediately made a CD backup. It took a while; and 4 or 5 CD's but; like I said, I haven't had a whole lotta problems. I also talked to a "computer whiz" buddy of mine and he gave me Spybot, Adaware and AVG. So, I installed all three; updated them and I update and use them every day.
