They turned the inside of the washer blue...the dryer blue.....

If I remember correctly, we had to wash them about 5 times before the dye stopped running out of them.

I would buy a pair, and run them through the washer continously, just so I could wear them the next day.

They did keep their color for a long time.

Black jeans...cowboy boots

Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep, UFO, Bob Marley, ..........

I only remember two of my parents 8-tracks - Elvis and Moms Mabley. I was never allowed to be around when they were listening to Moms, it was too dirty for a little kid.

Boy, have you guys sparked some memories. High school grad picture with the Farrah Fawcett hair in particular. :yikes:

Funny, I was talking just the other night with a friend's father who had left this area about 20 years ago. All the places we knew that are now gone. Cedar Point Tavern, Pat's Bar, Little Billy's, The Phonebooth, Two Spot Club, Mike's Bar, The Ark & The Dove, Club Rio, The Galley, Bambino's, The Underground, and so many other... Ah, the memories...

She must have had the same 8 tracks my dad had...I wasn't aloud to listen. I remember one was Redd Foxx.

Oh, yes...they had the Moms Mabley one too.

Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic.

I can't believe all this is coming back to me.
Jim Croce - Time in A Bottle. That was another 8-Track favorite of mine.

As a matter of fact my Mom use to put us to sleep to the sounds of either Jim Croce, James Taylor, Peter Paul and Mary, or Christopher Cross.
