You can donate cars to places like Melwood. You get a tax write off for what they sell it for at auction. Center for Life Enrichment (I think) fixes them and gives them to low income families and that gets you a higher write off.
If it's a total junker, there's lots of people that will haul it away and give you $50.00-$150.00 for it and then sell it as scrap.

I was wondering if someone could give me some info on car removal. I have a small Protege that I would like to get rid of. I was told that there are some places that may even give you ca$h for the parts. Any ideas would be helpful!

Champion Auto Parts on Flat Iron Rd, will pay you something like $25 to $30 per car, when they pick up the car. I think Hollywood Auto does the same thing.
