I agree with you. I don't think there viable life either. I just think that this technology could benefit people in the future. Maybe not 5 years from now, but sometime in the future. My Grandmother has Alzheimers Disease, and I know it's too late for her, but I could be in her shoes 30 or 40 years from now, and stem cell research may save me or my siblings from this disease.

This technology reminds of when we went to the Moon. People said it couldn't be done and it was a waste of money. But American Scientists proved these skeptics wrong. Not only did we make it to the Moon, but we gained so many new technology's from NASA. There is nothing to lose from Stem Cell Research, we have everything to gain.

These embryo's are never going to become life so why not fund research into this pontentially life saving technology?

Also Pete?, are you T-Bone from 98.3 starfm? You remind me of him. Your posts are as lackluster as T-Bone and Heather's radio show in the mornings.:)
