Retired.

His only special skill is his legs and they're simply too fragile to count on. His arm is strong but that's not special. He's not very accurate. He reads slow, reacts slow or over reacts too soon. His footwork and pocket presence are awful.

A guy made an interesting comment about Kirk on the radio the other day; He's a 'system' QB and really not all that special. If you can read fast, decide fast and have a good arm, are accurate and can run a little now and again and the system suits you, then, OK, great.

I get that, you 'fit' the system. The flip side is that either the Redskins system is VERY special or every other team that lacks an elite QB is having a bit of trouble finding their Kirk. So, read fast, decide fast, good arm, accurate, can run, should be 32 of them, yes?

Jax? Houston? Titans? Eagles? Cowboys (Tony is done), Falcons, Bucs, Browns, Bills, Rams, Jets, 9ers, all those teams can't seem to find a Kirk. And are they seriously going to spend any time trying to see if Robert can become something he's never been, unlike Kirk, AND learn to hold their breath every single snap OR keep looking for someone who can read, react, throw and run?

Bucs have their QB. Pending a sophomore slump, Winston actually impressed me a bit in his rookie year.

Yup, my bad. Forgot about him.

I just can't see a team wanting to spend the time on him. The guy is a real fighter but he just gets hurt. So, even if someone looked at video and decided 'maybe', there is nothing in there, outside of the rookie season, that makes you go "WOW!" and if there is no wow, why on earth would anyone put the time and energy into it? It was bad enough Snyder embarrassed the kid by holding out for SOMETHING, anything, and no takers.

Alf Morris was a huge part of the success of 2012. A rookie running back gaining 1,600 yards made life a lot easier for the QB. In the history of the NFL, how many runners have had 1,600 yard seasons? Less than 50!

Yup. They complimented one another very well.

He'll be out of the league in 3 years. He's Heath Shuler with a ROY award.

2 years he will be gone..but I was wrong in 2013 when I said he would be gone by 2016. Waiting for some GM to sign him so I can send them a "I am Dumb" sticker.

Optimists. There's not a team he would start for. Not one. There isn't a team he'd be an heir apparent. Not one.
2012 was a fluke season with a gimic offense and it took defenses ONE off season to put an end to anything remotely like the season had. Kaepernick is done and he has a better arm. Wilson always moved to buy time. Cam is a physical marvel yet he has a ways to go.

Other than camp and sitting on the bench for a year or two to learn what we already know, he's done.

But think back to a few years ago when all the sports radio people were debating the merits of Luck & Bobby. They'd go back and forth which 1 was going to Canton first. Then they put on the pads. So much for can't miss.

Now ponder what the Redskins gave up to get this kid. At Redskins park there has to be a few holes in the wall from people pounding their foreheads into them when ever they revisit him being drafted.

Cleveland takes another swing and miss, IMO. RG3 signs for 2 years. Curious to the terms, probably hugely incentive based.

Rhetorically he still doesn't get it saying he's looking forward to what they can do for him. It seems it is two years for 15 million dollars up to possibly 22 million dollars with incentives.

The Browns have a really good line so if they can buy him 10-15 seconds to make up his mind, who knows?

I guess the Browns are going to un retire Brady Quinn's #10 jersey. Bernie Kosar was heard to say, "I picked a bad week to quit drinking."
