NO WAY! I have had nothing but great service on the two occasions I went there.
I'll be over there on Saturday so 
if ya see me. I won't be wearing the hat, sometimes I like to share the view of the crop circle.

I was devastated. Everyone else (minus Cindy's Pancakes Plus and Johnny Boys) in La Plata sucks.I love Roys, but if the one in Solomon's closed tomorrow, I sure wouldn't be heart broken, but if it means a "meeting" at the Tiki Bar, I'm there.
I'm glad I'm not working in that POS town anymore.
After working there for more than a year, I can say I saw that town go downhill really fast.

Not anymore it's not. It's somewhere between Waldorf, Hillbilly Hell and Retirement City USA.LaPlata is a nice town Andy........
Between the drivers (most of then senior citizens) being unable to maintain the minimum speed (40 in a 50) and having Dash In and CVS at every single corner and the numbers of crimes and stuff in that area. It's a hellhole. Even the KFC there taste like poo.
La Plata's nothing like what it used to be. JMO. :shrug:

...I still think Leonardtown is better. We have come out of the ashes of a decade ago. Downtown has been revitalized by keeping the Courthouse where it should be, not Hollywood road....IMO....
