Sarah Sanders Asked to Leave Restaurant

So, you've got nothing then? You see no good reason for one citizen to be treated differently than another? You have no good justification, and you are good with it?

What happens when the citizen held to a higher level of protection is one with which you disagree? Will you be able to agree that Christians have an equal right to voice their opinions as non-Christians, for example?

A protected class is not held to a huge level of protection. They are protected to ensure they are held to the same standard as everyone else as a way to compensate for people like you who would discriminate against them

Because they get called names, they need protecting moreso than anyone else? And because of this you believe you are at liberty to call us morons? You are incapable of seeing the irony in your comments.

If name calling was the worst that happened perhaps i would pay attention to your argument.

You're damn right I'm mad at government. I mad because they have become convinced that there are certain classes of people that are more-than and need some BS protection that comes from government. And you, like a good little government bot believe they give one damn about you. We had 8 years of Obama and we're worse off racially now than we've ever been. Chicago has been run by liberals forever and they still remain in poverty and crime-ridden. Same for Baltimore, Detroit and Los Angeles. You liberals talk about protect those you pretend to care about, but when it comes to TRULY protecting them you fail them every time. You'll never admit you suck at fixing these problems, because you can't that you are the problem.

Trump has done more to sour race relations in this country in 2 years then Obama could possibly do in a lifetime.

See BBQ Becky, Permit Patty, NFL Kneeling, Charlottseville the rise of the Alt right. Separating families at the border. Banning Trans soldiers the list goes on and on.

These people aren't asking for more than anyone else just the same as everyone else.

No one should be punished for inherent traits. Only traits they can control like being a bigot i.e. Sarah Sanders

Why is it the government's job to stop you from discriminating against, say, Sarah Sanders? Should the government be called in to stop that?

I mean, we can SEE with our own eyes and admission of the restaurant owner that they discriminated against her. This is not in dispute. If she is being discriminated against, then your stance should be that you think the restaurant owner should be taken to task by the government, right?

Or, it's ok to discriminate against some, but not others?

It has to be the former or the latter, so which one is it?

Sez you. I actually thought electing - and re-electing - a black President would do SOMETHING to improve race relations in eight years.
I really thought that if he accomplished NOTHING else - that at least would be a lasting legacy.

I can't say that it did - and it's obvious enough that he made it worse - because instead of trying to find solutions, he'd just poke the hornet's nest and walk away.

Do you walk around arguing and muttering to yourself?

I have clearly explained why the two are different.

At this point your beef is with the law as it stands. Please go get a law degree and work to have the law changed or run for government position to do the same.

I can't help you by repeatedly explaining the same things over and over to you

you have, you have stated that you believe it is ok to discriminate against some people but not others. I have repeatedly asked you why some citizens are deserving of discrimination and others are not. You have not once even attempted to answer that question except to say that some need protection from discrimination - though you can't explain WHY some need governmental help against discrimination and others do not.

You have not once explained WHY the two are different, just said that they are different. No reason, no explanation, no standard by which to go....just your opinion that the government is correct in discriminating against some citizens in favor of others. That's not a democratic-republic, that's a theocracy or dictatorship.

Add me to the list.

I was certainly no supporter of Mr. Obama, but I did think it should help race relations. I was soooooo wrong, as all he did was make things worse. I also thought his Muslim heritage (I do not know nor care what religion he personally is, but it is not in dispute that he had a strong Muslim influence in his upbringing) would help us with our GWOT. Again, I was soooooo wrong, as all he did was make things worse.

I give him credit on Cuba just like I give Trump credit on NK - what we had been doing for decades clearly was not working, and perhaps a change might improve things.

The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!

However, the kitchens still passed the inspections and did not need to be rechecked.

Having owned an establishment with three food prep and serving areas, I know how picky the inspections are and how inconsequential most of the citations...hence why they passed anyway. :yay:

So, are you saying the Red Hen IS dirty? Or, since Mar-a-Lago was cited, that means the Red Hen is NOT dirty?

I never get these "yeah but your guy" things, help me out here.

You were the one that made name-calling an issue. And you did it by calling people names. So, perhaps you ought to pay attention to your own argument.

So...

Trump made BBQ Becky call the cops on a groups of clack people?
Trump made permit Patty call the cops on the little black girl?
Trump made the football players kneel - BTW, you know that was going on before Trump became president?
Trump made Charlottesville happen?
Trump is the leader of the so-called alt-right? Exactly what is this 'alt-right' anyway?

And with the exception of Charlottesville, you're assuming these events were racially or socially motivated.

The people crossing our borders illegally are breaking our laws. I know that means nothing to you, but perhaps you ought to talk to the family of Kate Steile about that. There was no policy implemented by Trump that caused Becky or Patty or the NFL or Charlottesville happen. They happened on their own. And we've got enough with the 'white privilege' crap that liberals are trying to LABEL on whites. Why don't you clean that crap up before you call out people you disagree with.
