sorry, someone has mis-informed you. The 2 occupants of the bus included the driver and another individual, not 2 students. and for future reference, there are SMC public school buses that are labeled greater than 744 (I only know because I once worked in the school system)

It's possible that the bus was out doing driver training, being taken to a mechanic shop, being returned to the operator for weekend parking, or a multitude of other reasons.

That's true too. I forgot about driver training. Could you imagine if that driver was out taking their CDL test? :faint:

I misread it as two passengers, not two people. As huntr said, we have been informed that the driver is a friend. Although a public school bus driver, he doesn't drive a standard school route. He drives for special needs children or others who require special services for whatever reason. For example, he used to pick up homeless children at shelters, but I believe he's been on special needs runs for a while.

does anyone on here know what they are talking about. stmary's schools are closed. bus vs tactor trailer. 2 adults on the bus one tractor trailer driver. drive of the bus was flown to pg. the other 2 was taking to st marys hosptial.

Any updates on the driver of the bus?

Edit: Found an update.
He was released day after he was taken to PG hosp.
