You know what, you are right. I just noticed that it has a date in the upper right hand corner and it is an old copy.

You can calm down now.

I was calm all along. I just wish people would support their claims. It would make thing much easier.

Originally a Day Off

It was originally parent/teacher conference day -- no school for students

Teachers were furlowed.

3 furlow days were added to Christmas break to improve energy savings.

3 teacher work days needed to become days that students were in school.

Calendar change -- students in school 10/10, 10/14 and one other day that I can't remember -- students not in school 12/19-21

Teachers no longer furlowed.

3 teacher work days will need to be added back in. Students will still need to go to school 180 days.

This is all correct. Thanks for laying out. It was confusing how they arranged the schedule last spring for the current (11/12) school year. Again, my orgianl point is that the Columbus Day change had nothing to do with flooding. The schedule was in place prior to the current school year. Approved June 29, 2011.
