Have to....

... agree with you 1000%

We just moved and bought a new house and it didn't come with a fridge, washer or dryer. We had seen Sears had a huge sale going something like buy 1 appliance get 5% off, buy 2 get 10% off, buy 3 and get 15% off.

We thought "great"!!! We knew we were looking at about $4000, so that would have given us $800 off. We go in pick everything out and when we start the finalize things the girl tells us the offer is good only if you put it on your Sears card. Cash wasn't good enough. So we said see yah and went to another store and actually found better appliances at a better price and best of all, if something takes a crap, we won't be dealing with Sears Service.

Sears does SUCK!

So let's see,........You did'nt read the fine print and did'nt shop around before making a $4000 purchase and that makes Sears suck.

Personaly I have bought from Sears for years and had to use there service a couple of time and never had any problems. Was their serveice great ??? No, but it was on par with other home services and far better than HVAC home service.

You know, you look like a bright guy... If you have the part right there looking at it why not just fix it your self and save yourself some greif...

A $1000 dishwasher.....I hope it kisses good...

Since it's under warranty if I damaged it during installation of the part, then I am liable and the warranty is void, soooooo....:coffee:

Sears told us it would be $600.00 to fix our 3 year old oven. Hubby cut the power and a restart and the computer system came right back up!

Not only did the Sears repairman not do anything, he asked me why I didn't get the airgap installed, I said I was waiting for the part to be installed first, he said it is the problem, I said well if it is the problem why did you order that expensive $300+ dollar part??? He said well it doesn't need this part and left with it without doing anything!!! So I made an airgap and everything works fine but WTF, if that's the case, my dishwasher has been fixed for the last 5 freakin weeks!!!

Sears you people are some sick bastards!!!

I just watched the video.
Good job. I wonder if they will give a crap or not.

if it were me I would rip the thing out and bring it to the store for a full refund.
they would like that.

It made me feel better and last hit count was over 600 so at least word is getting out, If I discourage 1 person from buying at Sears, my job is done!!! Oh and it's Nov 26th, Sears still Sucks!!!

A dozen people viewed it at my house over the holidays. So one hit was 12 people. :yay: Very funny!

we should all start calling and emailing sears thanking them for treating this guy in this manner.
tell them that because of this we shopped around and found better deals on our appliances.

Ok then, I sent this to them.
Corporate site, you can find the email addy there to contact them.

Recently I upgraded my kitchen, including all appliances and cabinets.

I will tell you that My first choice was to make my purchases from Sears to do this project, however, during a simple search for appliences, I typed in Sears Service and came up with this YouTube - SEARS Repair Service SUCKS!!!

Although I am positive that this must be a mistake of some sort, as sears would not allow a customer to go months with a faulty product, I was still forced to go with another supplier to fill my requirements.

I will say this, If this is a false accusation of service, you need to contact this person and deal with it, if on the other hand his claims are true, you would do well to correct his issues quickly and have him remove from the web this video.

Although my project was only around $17.000 and Im sure that this causes Sears no hardship, I do have to wonder if anyone else would make the same decision as I did based on the image of Sears that is projected in this video.

Sincerely
Yada yada,, whatever

Excellent!!! Thanks for the support...:buddies:
You got it.
I cant stand companies trying to back out of their warranty.

however remember this.
Sears subcontracts the work, they may have been told by the subcontractor that the job was completed.

either way, sears should make sure that you are taken care of in a prompt manner.

good luck to you.
