Second Hope Adoptable Dogs!

Loper

Animal Poor!
As humans, we have a lot of facial expressions that we make both consciously and unconsciously. Taking great photographs of posing humans must be difficult because there is a mix of the person being conscious of their photo being taken and how they wish to be percieved as the end result.

Some dogs shy away from the camera- or maybe Loper crawling across the floor! But they are not pretentious and have no idea why she is taking their picture. She has a great talent at capturing their spirit and knowing exactly when to click! From what I know of the animals of the pix posted in this thread, the photographs are very representative of their personalities. Except maybe Remy- I think he was sulking because KK was not holding him yesterday! He is such a big love bug!
Dogs have a lot of you expressions and she has a great talent at capturing their spirit and personalities.

OMG, Loper. Just when I thought the photos couldn't get any better.

You don't have talent, you have a GIFT.

Yes, Loper has a gift with all animals!!! You Loper, hubby and QMom have done alot with SHR, much thanks. I consider us a big family with the same cause!!:huggy:

Parker is next! KK said this little guy was so matted with knots that no other rescue would take him. They said he didn't like kids. I watched this little guy greet kids and adults into the shop with NO issues! He just wants to be someones lap dog!:yahoo:

Parker is one really cool dog. I’m not normally a small dog person, but I swear he’s a Rottweiler in a small dog body. He’s just an awesome dog, he’s one that I will cry my eyes out when he gets adopted! BUT, he deserves to be either the only dog or one of two… He will make someone a great companion! Currently Parker’s group consists of Coco, a pit/French bulldog mix, Odin the beagle/poodle mix, and Princess a 9 yr old lab mix. He gets along with most of the other dogs so long as they don’t try to intimidate him.

Any of you little dog people looking for a sweet pup! Here is your dog! :buddies:

Wyatt – a recent rescue from TriCounty, due to his age he wasn’t being adopted, but sometimes the older dogs make the BEST companions!

Brownee!!! She has the cutest face and personality to go with it!

Brownee was a stray that came into our group. She has gotten better about getting along with other dogs, it’s amazing! She will make someone a wonderful friend!

Here is Paris! I don't know any background on her so if someone wants to fill in the blanks for any of these guys/gals feel free!!

Paris is about 6 years old. She was an owner surrender to TriCounty and was actually within minutes of dying when I was talking to the tech, fortunately Paris did something really cute so the tech, said – Let me tell you about this dog….. Needless to say, I went and got her that night. Paris is a part of the “Pit Crew” at my house, there are 4 of them, 3 females and 1 male. They all play in the yard together (although none of my pits are ever left loose all day with another dog, they are all crated separately). Paris normally gets along with most dogs (NOT cats) and absolutely loves people. She is a “talker” whenever her person gets close. House trained – real sweet dog, looking for someone to love her!

Here is Jeff!
478974731_mhtZX-L.jpg

Jeff was found by a good Samaritan running with another little Terrier. The good Samaritan eventually found a home for Mutt but no luck with Jeff. Jeff has lost a lot os weight that he so desperately needed to loose. I think Jeff is okay with dogs so long as they don’t get in his face and he has been fine in the past with the Pomeranians at his former foster home. Another great companion, just looking for the right person to find him!

MARLEY- Mastiff mix female puppy.
478972454_JaAMn-L.jpg

We “think” mastiff/beagle mix (someone must have used a ladder) so Marley won’t get much bigger. She’s a sweet, laid back girl and will make someone a cool friend!

No he did not! Daddy (foster), did a visit with Chief and their pit/female the same age as Chief. Went very well!

Not a good fit, Chief really needs an ACTIVE owner. Anyone know someone that is involved in the Iron Dog contests or weight pulling, he’s even quick enough on his feet for agility? Someone that wants a hiking, running, roller blading buddy?

Patches! She is one sweet pup!
478978400_3Bv7t-L.jpg

What a sweetheart, originally found in an alley in Baltimore covered in ticks, family kept her and loved her, Patches slept in bed with them but when the baby was born, they didn’t have any more time for Patches. Patches gets along with kids and most other dogs NO cats! Patches is about 2 years old.

Remy the big love!
478979159_kLzbW-L.jpg

What an AWESOME picture – Remy is nothing short of a loving and kind dog!

I have to give Bump a chance to get back on her feet before I could even think about an introduction meeting to our little family.

I know and completely understand… “if” I get another application on him first though I will come to you guys….

Chief and Tanner!

For those of you that “think” all pits are bad, this is the first time that these two have been that close to each other and as you can see there wasn’t an issue.

Yes, Loper has a gift with all animals!!! You Loper, hubby and QMom have done alot with SHR, much thanks. I consider us a big family with the same cause!!:huggy:

Amen!

I just wish we had the room for Chief. My son takes Buster all over...boardwalk..beach. We have the "land" just not the room in house.

You have no idea what a gorgeous animal he is. You have to see him in person to appreciate that dog.

KK-I am sorry it didnt work out with the people interested in Chief :huggy:

I do love your avatar!!

Well, sometimes it takes a little longer, it's just a matter of time.. I am going to start contacting different clubs. The only issue is his foster may be transferring soon that's the only reason he's not staying with is foster....

it takes a special person to love a special breed of dog and hopefully cheif (actually all the dogs) find a great forever home. I just really fell in love with his picture and having one that looked (well same color and big build with stocky head), like cheif, it is pulling at my heart. I want him so bad! I can name probably ten reasons why I cant have him and my urge for wanting him keeps overtaking the ten or more reasons why I can't! :cds:

So buy a bigger house!!!

It was so good having you and your son, what a polite young man he is!

(and regarding your pm - that would be great.... I'm good for saving their lives and making them emotionally normal, but I'm a horrible trainer!)
