I've tried to visit St. Mary's several times but BS Gal and her "biker chick" friends just harass me until I give up and return to the safer confines of Chuck Co.

No offence but, Solomons Island is NOT that big of a place! I know personally that it does not take that long to WALK around the ISLAND. I used to live on the island and how will you be able to check everything out if you 'RIDE BY'?
Just walk! You can check everything out better if you walk! You don't have to worry about someone taking your bike or anything. Besides, it's better exercise.

Are they the ghey knockoffs with two big wheels and two little wheels in the back or a true segway with only two wheels?

I tell you the best place to ever ride one of those would be in an airport...zooming around all the old people and little kids. I get so jealous of security in BWI riding them around!

I read the sign last night when I was walking back to my car from the Tiki bar, I would love to try kayaking but I doubt if I will.
