I have one and LOVE it. I have fibromyalgia and used to feel so achy and bad every morning. Doctor told me because I wasn't sleeping well. I laughed at him. I sleep so hard I don't even hear my alarm. Anyway, bought one of these beds and WOW what a difference!!

My husband's number is 65 but mine is 35. No wonder I was always hurting!

I had one. I wasn't comfortable on it. I always felt like I was sleeping on one of those blow-up spare bed kind of things. My ex loved it. When we got ours, there was a 90 day return policy, provided you put it all back in the original packaging. That would have been an impossible task. No way it was going back in....

Next bed I get will probably be a TempurPedic. Not one of the memory foam knockoffs, they aren't the same. I have a TempurPedic 2" topper for the bed. Makes a big difference over even a high quality mattress.

Methodically disorganized
Price them yourself @ Select Comfort, donkey. :duh:
:lmao:

Another useful function of the site: the store locator. There are several in the region. Go in and lie on one; you can tell whether it's worth trying one out in your home. If not, the only thing you lose is the time driving to test it.

I just looked at their insane prices. A top of the line queen bed sells for the tune of $4,400...

Tempurpedic blows that away. You can have their celebrity bed and still keep $1,000 in your pocket at that price...

I couldn't stand the tempurpedic... Our queen size sleep number cost 1800.00.
and I don't think it feels like an aerobed at all!

That is exactly what the one I am looking at costs shipped. They have 0% financing and no payments til 2009. I have a tempurpedic topper now and I am hot natured and this thing COOKS ME ALIVE! I can't stand it! I really think I am going to go for it. I talked to one of their reps and they had good answers for all of my questions. I'm sold! Thanks for the input! :huggy:

That is what they are there for.

:smack: I know that! But I wanted to know if the cats could pop the mattress, he said no, then told me how the bed was made and that there was no way the cats could get their claws in it. I also asked a few other questions I was concerned with and he was very helpful. I have the arthritis really bad and climbing up on my now 3 foot tall bed is hard on me. This one is going to be half that height which will be a good thing! So :biteme: :lmao:

 I still don't see why you wouldn't want to go to a store and test-drive one first.

But you're set on it... so have fun. :yay:

Hubby said that some Radisson Hotels have them, so if you go on travel or planning a trip, this might give you an opportunity to test one out.

10 years ago a salesman swore that my cat could not pop my waterbed. 6 months later I woke up thinking that I pissed myself. Then I noticed my cat kneeding the mattress.

I said earlier they have stores where you can try them for free.

I did miss that. But I also know that there is probably a big difference in laying in one for just an hour or less and getting to sleep on one for 8 hours or more. Just threw it out there as another option.

Besides that, they don't allow :gossip: in the store.

Cats will DEFINITELY NOT pop the select comfort. The air pockets are inside a regular mattress.

Comfort Select bed

I have had mine for 4 years and wouldnt trade it in for anything. I also have fibromyalgia and it is great for me. I can change the pressure in the bed to suit how I feel and how much pressure I want. I would highly recommend this bed.
