Does anyone have or know of anyone that has one of these beds? They are also known as Sleep Number beds. I am considering buying one. Could use some input. TIA! :howdy:

Would NOT trade mine for anything. I have back problems and this is the only bed that I can sleep in without having back pain.

I've been researching these and other beds the past two years. We've purchased three mattresses in the past five years as I've been trying to find one that doesn't hurt my back. With regard to Select Comfort beds, here's what I learned:
1) QVC sells the Select Comfort mattresses a lot cheaper than the storefronts do.
2) Comfortaire mattresses are a great alternative to Select Comfort. They're half the cost and made of the same material. I have one now and find them to be very good beds. Here's an epinions review Epinions.com - Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Comfortaire Cerulean Mattress at Epinions.com
Also unlike Select Comfort, Comfortaire also has favorable BBB ratings - which is what won me over.

It would take you about 5 hours to assemble the bed. I would suggest buying it from the store and having it assembled for you. The extra money is worth it.

It only took us an hour to assemble the bed as the instructions they provided were great. But if you're not handy, I could see assembly being more challenging and certainly taking longer.

Do they make a California King with four zones instead of two?

We have a King with separate controllers - OMG why would you want a Calif. King - how tall are you???? My son is 6'5 and he is fine on the king.
