Sure you are. Maybe in your second life or sims fantasy world.

...you just posted in front of many people who know me, and at least one of whom have even regularly attended many of the various dinner meetings I've spoken to over the last 20 plus years. So please..post some more ignorance. It could be fun.

Bar ain't ever cheap either. And they never allow enough time to get a good buzz going before we have to be seated. :cussing:

At least you stay awake during the presentations.

Don't you?

BTW: The food at the brand spanking new Army-Navy Country Club isn't actually that bad.

Jesus *****. That is literally the answer to everything for you people isnt it? She is not the president nor is she the attorney general. "Haven't you ever heard your mother say if Steve jumped off a cliff would you jump off"?

"Hillary" isn't the answer to ANYTHING - not even: What is that evil b!tch's name?

so now there is evidence you just don't think it could possibly be connected to Russia or collusion? BTW, hacking and collusion are two different issues. One doesn't have to be involved with both. Like I said, we don't know and that is exactly why they need to investigate.
BTW, they have called members of the Obama admin to testify.

I didn't say that............ at all. There is evidence that Flynn had nefarious connections with Russia. There is nothing in that evidence that points to the hacking of our election; in other words, there is no evidence that shows Flynn colluded with the Russians to manipulate the election. There is absolutely no evidence that shows Trump or anyone else in his admin colluded with the Russians in any manner, especially the election. Flynn is allegedly guilty of some financial exchanges with Russia that could be illegal; but he has yet to be charged with anything.

With the new info that Lynch demanded the wording of the investigation be changed, I believe she needs to be hauled in and questioned about this and determined if there was obstruction of justice.

What's your deal? Did you somehow sleep through the whole Benghazi deal, when she said she couldn't remember?
Or the whole email thing last year?

This was last year. All regarding when she was SoS.

But in her former life -

She couldn't remember anything. And y'all wanted HER in the White House. As President.

There is evidence if some wronging related to Russia, Flynn isn't the only trumper who accepted funds or had serious ties to the Russians. I don't think what the public knows proves much, but we aren't privy to the important stuff. We shall see how it plays out.

I agree with you about lynch needing to be investigated for obstruction. But I don't think calling an investigation a matter rises to that level. However you do highlight am interesting bit of hypocrisy the right is guilty of. If trump has the right to fire Comey or have any investigation halted as he sees fit, then lynch would have similar authority to change the name of or end an investigation.

A rose by any other name :bigwhoop:

Words only matter to you when it fits your narrative. Lynch's DEMAND for Comey to change the wording to the public was an obvious attempt to downplay the severity of the INVESTIGATION of Hillary's illegal email scandal. This borders on, if not is actual, obstruction.

Not quite the same as.
" I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go,'

I still dont see it as the same........" I hope" is a lot different than do it.

As long as people are interpreting Trump - *implying* some kind of directive by saying "I hope" absolutely doesn't sound like the very direct way Trump does everything else.

There are those who could, within reason, suggest Trump was suggesting "an offer you can't refuse" kind of thing. "I hope women in this company enjoy wearing short skirts" said by your boss' boss' boss might sound like a directive to dress in short skirts - which could be interpreted (reasonably) as sexual harassment - even if it wasn't directed at a specific person, but said in front of a bunch of women.

But, I go back to the really obvious - the president has pardon authority that is essentially unchecked. If he doesn't want someone investigated (that's not him), he can just say so and that's an ipso-facto pardon. If they investigate and prosecute and convict, he can pardon. He can pardon BEFORE someone is even accused of a crime. There's not a single reason for him to "obstruct justice" by a suggestion, he's legally able to do it with an order. So, the whole concept seems pretty stupid to investigate.

Yet Comey never felt a need to take action on it.

It's funny how all of these people, that weren't even in the room, just knew Trump was attempting to obstruct the investigation; they all knew this............................... except Comey.

I have already said I have no issue with that interpretation of the situation. However, if we are going to use that as the standard then obviously Trump's request to Comey must also be viewed as a demand.

However, like I said before, I don't think either really amount to obstruction on their own. The AG has the authority to advise and direct the FBI and the president has the authority to end an investigation.

But of you want to use your standard we can :yay:

that's not exactly true, comey documented it and discussed it with his colleagues and decided that the person he should report it to was likely to be recusing himself from the investigation.

But again, I don't think that simply asking for the investigation to be let go amounts to obstruction.

See how the AG can obstruct, but the president can't?
