And so it shall be with the infiltration of sharia or Islamic law, into the United States. Thanks to the website, “Creeping Sharia” we have a another stealthy example. It seems that in Minnesota — St. Paul to be exact — the YMCA and St. Paul Police are accommodating the burgeoning Somali Muslim community.

There have been previous reports from the Minneapolis/ St Paul area regarding Muslim taxi drivers who refused fares to individuals with dogs or carrying alcoholic beverages from the airport. I also recall an instance where a Muslim cashier worker at a Target store refused to touch pork products for scanning and bagging.

Now, as written in the Star Tribune by Nicole Norfleet, the YMCA and police have started a swim group for young Somali girls ages 5-17. The issue is that special considerations are being made to address modesty concerns so that the Muslim girls can swim and not reveal too much of themselves.

According to the report, during the hour long swim practice, all other swimmers are cleared out of the pool. The men’s locker room is locked and female life guards are brought in. “I think this is just a great opportunity for them to learn basic skills that we take for granted,” said Sgt. Jennifer O’Donnell, who has worked with the Somali community regularly during her time with the department.

What ever happened to assimilation? When did America stop being the melting pot? Muslims have a right to freedom of religion, but have no right to impose their stupid sharia law, which is inhumane, anyway. And, who are the so called "Americans" that are bending over to accommodate this crap? Do they really not value the American way? First point, "assimilation" does not equate to a melting pot. Do you even know what "assimilation" means? America is the country we because we come from so many DIFFERENT backgrounds AND because we (well those of us with the ability to think and work together) understand that different cultures CAN live together and ADD variety.

Second, the "so called" American is YOU. Do you know the words that are part of the Statue of Liberty? Do you understand that EVERYONE (except those of native descent) is here due to an immigrant?

Third, no one is IMPOSING anything on anyone. (Maybe imposing is another word you should look up?) Due to their religious beliefs these girls swim in a class EXCLUSIVE to them. How is that any different from a class open only to seniors? Or kids in general?

Fourth, you really are a moron, as are your two compatriots who also replied. The unbelievable part of this thread is that is was even posted. The three of you really should be ashamed of yourselves. Of course you won't be, because you are all really too stupid to understand.

Is the YMCA a private business? If yes then they can do what they want imo. I am not a fan of the he muslims at all but if you don't like it you can take your business elsewhere.
