First, what kind of bike?blujeanbaby861 said:I take my bike to MotoVation and they suggested to me about putting speakers and a hook up for my XM roadie on the bike -- I was interested in the post about someone having that on their bike. The way it was explained to me was that they could put a headset in my helmet so I could hear it -- I didn't understand how that works -- is it wireless or do you plug them into the unit and have a wire hanging down -- also what about when I wear my half helmet which I bought -- no place for headphone so would I need speakers on the bike and can you even hear speakers on the bike when you are riding?
You can run it to earphones too. Cycle Gadgets makes the mount for the radio and antenna, but be FOREWARNED.. XM is NOT 12V, it is 6V so you HAVE to run it through a cigarette lighter, OR buy the 6V transformer for it (Cycle Gadgets also sells it) Autocomm sells the box to run it through, though in your case with the Roady2 you can run it straight to earphones withouth the Autocomm. Roady2 has an earphone outlet, and internal volume control. AND it's only $29.
Cyclegadgets.com has all kind of cool mounting hardware.
Autocomm.com to read about the intercom/ music system.
Any other info, let me know, I'll answer the best I can.
