I'm still confused as to what's going on but there seems to be several police in Hughesville around Oaks Road and Independence Circle. Just a thought on my part but it's possible this guy made it from Waldorf to down there but I cannot confirm nor deny that. There has been so much going on this afternoon I can't keep track of it all.
Maybe I need a decoder ring?

st.marys is looking for him in the Lexington park for Charles County after a broadcast of the lookout.

Charles just adivesed that he was a passager in a green minivan in the area of rt 6 on to rt 5 going to the park

Apparently this guy has contacted his family and was taking Route 6 to 5 and heading to Cavanaugh (sp) road which is somewhere south of Thompsons Seafood. Green minivan with a white female driver and possibly other passangers.

Apparently that wasn't the right green minivan as it was cleared. Cop said he was going back to wait around Cavanaugh.

Someone needs to pick this up from me. I did hear 2 St Mary's and one State was on the case but my Charles County scanner is/has lost coverage down there.

I have no idea what happened around Oaks/Independence. All I heard was there were at least 3 cop cars in the area. Haven't heard anything about it in a while.

Just heard cops in front of and behind a vehicle headed towards 235. St Mary's po-po just lit them up. Also heard the Oaks Road caper, whatever it was, is still ongoing.

They have been setting up a perimeter in the area for a bit now. They just pulled over a green mini-van that pulled in and out of that road they are on. I thought they said Cavenal(sp) Road but I’m not finding that on the map. All the squelch that is coming across is because of the heavy rain and it is so fricken annoying, but it sounds like the suspect is believed to be in a green mini-van. :peace:

Apparently this vehicle didn't contain our shooter either. Anyone that suggests the cops are doing a poor job should have a scanner this afternoon and just listen to all they have to deal with. One could get the impression there are 1,000 of them just here in Charles County based on all the calls they've been directed to.

Cops were stopping cars (stopped us) with machine guns in hand. They were posted all over. All I know is a cop was shot.

Suspects last known address was Oaks Road. He was seen in the area of Independence Village after the shooting. WUSA said his name was Christoper Jenkins black male.
Officer being treated for wound to shoulder and arm by one shot.
