I just went to the Chas. Co. Sheriffs web site. I went to school with the cop!! He was a real nice guy. I didn't even know he was a cop until a few months ago when I went to traffic court. Says it was an arm wound. Shot by his cousin in the appartment they shared. With his own gun. They have a pic up.

Suspects last known address was Oaks Road. He was seen in the area of Independence Village after the shooting. WUSA said his name was Christoper Jenkins black male.
Officer being treated for wound to shoulder and arm by one shot.

If it's Christopher Dewayne Jenkins, he is a very bad guy. I would think his cop cousin would steer clear of him.

Jenkins is a black male, 28 years of age, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 185 pounds and has a medium build. In a press release issued after the incident occurred, the Sheriff’s Office erroneously reported his weight as 285 pounds. Jenkins also has a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
