Narcan has been around for a long time, it is used for a variety of different overdoses. Years ago local college students were making a tea out of a local weed that grows here, jimseng weed, and would drink it, it has a similar reaction to LSD. We would give it to them, and they would come right out of it. We save iraqi insurgent lives after we shoot them, herion addicts should not be treated any differently.Ken King said:Saving a life is saving a life, it is the job of the emergency medical people to do just that, so yes use the drug.

For the repeat offender, who seems to have a death wish anyhow, as well as a homicidal tendency to destroy lives around him by his actions, I'm not so gracious in my thinking...
But, it's not my decision... If it were me, and I were a part of the second group - too far gone - I would NOT want it administered... DNR baby... and I say that with a clear head... but, addicts are mostly self-centered and I don't know what I'd think when under that influence...

Why would you want a healthy kidney to replace a sick liver?buddy999 said:The same goes for alcohol.
