Fauci’s Red Guards

Until now. As it turns out, an astonishing new release of discovery documents in Missouri v. Biden – in which NCLA Legal (New Civil Liberties Alliance) is representing plaintiffs including Jay Bhattacharya, Martin Kulldorff, and Aaron Kheriaty against the Biden administration for violations of free speech during Covid – reveal a vast federal censorship army, with more than 50 federal officials across at least 11 federal agencies having secretly coordinated with social media companies to censor private speech.

Secretary Mayorkas of DHS commented that the federal Government’s efforts to police private speech on social media are occurring “across the federal enterprise.” It turns out that this statement is true, on a scale beyond what Plaintiffs could ever have anticipated. The limited discovery produced so far provides a tantalising snapshot into a massive, sprawling federal “Censorship Enterprise,” which includes dozens of federal officials across at least eleven federal agencies and components identified so far, who communicate with social-media platforms about misinformation, disinformation, and the suppression of private speech on social media—all with the intent and effect of pressuring social-media platforms to censor and suppress private speech that federal officials disfavour.

The scale of this federal censorship enterprise appears to be far beyond what anyone imagined, involving even senior White House officials. The government is protecting Anthony Fauci and other high level officials by refusing to reveal documents related to their involvement.

The discovery provided so far demonstrates that this Censorship Enterprise is extremely broad, including officials in the White House, HHS, DHS, CISA, the CDC, NIAID, and the Office of the Surgeon General; and evidently other agencies as well, such as the Census Bureau, the FDA, the FBI, the State Department, the Treasury Department, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. And it rises to the highest levels of the U.S. Government, including numerous White House officials… In their initial response to interrogatories, Defendants initially identified forty-five federal officials at DHS, CISA, the CDC, NIAID, and the Office of the Surgeon General (all within only two federal agencies, DHS and HHS), who communicate with social-media platforms about misinformation and censorship.

Federal officials are coordinating to censor private speech across all major social media platforms.

The third-party social-media platforms, moreover, have revealed that more federal agencies are involved. Meta, for example, has disclosed that at least 32 federal officials – including senior officials at the FDA, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, and the White House – have communicated with Meta about content moderation on its platforms, many of whom were not disclosed in response to Plaintiffs’ interrogatories to Defendants. YouTube disclosed eleven federal officials engaged in such communications, including officials at the Census Bureau and the White House, many of whom were also not disclosed by Defendants. Twitter disclosed nine federal officials, including senior officials at the State Department who were not previously disclosed by Defendants.

Judge Orders Fauci to behave his little self and Cough It Up, "hand over the goods, Fauci", he was told; BROWNSTONE'S Jeff Tucker's strong piece on how the little one is becoming UNDONE

‘A lawsuit against the federal government – Anthony Fauci in particular – from the Attorneys General of Missouri and Louisiana has been brewing for a good part of the summer of 2022. The issue concerns the censoring of certain high-level experts on social media, three of whom are senior scholars of the Brownstone Institute. We know for sure that this censorship began early in the pandemic response and included exchanges between Fauci and then head of NIH Francis Collins, who called for a “quick and devastating takedown” of the Great Barrington Declaration.

At issue is whether and to what extent the government itself has had a hand in encouraging tech companies to squelch speech rights. If so, this is unconstitutional. It flies in the face of the First Amendment. It never should have happened. That it did required arduous legal means to expose and, hopefully, stop.

Fauci ‘Clearly Misled Congress’ Over COVID-19 Origins: Former CDC Director

Dr. Robert Redfield asserted in a new interview that “everyone had to agree to the narrative” pushed by Fauci and other health officials that the virus came from a “wet market” in Wuhan in 2019 and not the Wuhan Institute of Virology. In an interview in early 2021 with CNN, Redfield, a longtime virologist, said the virus emerged from the lab, later sparking death threats against him and his family from prominent scientists.

And Fauci “may have overplayed his hand when he was so aggressive with Congress, saying that he was never involved in funding gain of function research,” said Redfield, referring to the controversial research to genetically alter an organism to enhance certain biological functions including transmissibility. “There’s too much evidence that’s just not true.”

“Fauci knows that he’s funded this research. He also knows that he misled Congress. They’re in protection mode,” he told Paul Thacker’s Disinformation Chronicle newsletter for Substack.

During hearings, Fauci has clashed with several Republican lawmakers and namely, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) over whether his agency provided funding to a third-party group to carry out gain-of-function research at the Wuhan laboratory.

Fauci admits he knew ‘draconian’ lockdowns would have ‘collateral negative consequences’ on schoolchildren

During the event, Fauci spoke with The Atlantic editor Ross Andersen in front of a live audience about his experiences as the leading medical professional working in the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In one segment of his talk, the doctor spoke about his guidance in instituting “draconian” pandemic guidance knowing full well there would be “collateral” damage stemming from it.

Before making his central point, Fauci first blamed the “divisiveness” of “social media” for turning every piece of his guidance during the pandemic into a confusing and controversial statement.

“When you have a divisiveness in society where every time you say something, you have X number of people with social media looking to attack it, that adds to the understandable confusion when you’re dealing with an evolving outbreak,” Fauci stated.

He then justified his harsh COVID guidance, including pushing the federal government to mandate lockdowns, masking, and later, vaccination, because hospitals were being “overrun.”

“Of course, when you make recommendations, if the primary goal when you’re dealing with a situation where the hospitals were being overrun in New York, intensive care units were being put in hallways, you have to do something that’s rather draconian,” the doctor admitted.

Fauci Mocked Mask-Wearers: 'Laughing Privately at the Americans He Was Fooling'

A new book by former White House spokesman Brian Morgenstern captures Fauci’s laissez-faire attitude about the whole so-called virus.

n January 2020, [Fauci] said the virus was nothing to worry about for the American people. Then in the months that followed, he said that people should not wear masks and that they were ineffective. By June or July, he had changed his tune and said everyone should be very concerned and that they should wear multiple masks and goggles,” the book said.

Titled Vignettes & Vinos, Morgenstern called Fauci “awful” and an “egomaniac,” detailing how he would mock people who strapped masks to their faces.

“I vividly recall my blood boiling during an infuriating meeting in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, when Fauci laughed about his own goggles comment, making it clear how cynical he was and that he could get people to believe anything,” Morgenstern wrote, adding “he went on to laugh about how ‘ass-backwards’ it was that people entered a restaurant wearing a mask, then sat down and conversed with people without a mask. Of course, he wasn’t saying things to that effect publicly, just laughing privately at the American rubes he was fooling.”

Fauci proved to contradict and play political games with Americans as the Left realized just how far they can instill fear into the country.

💉 In a video interview with the Atlantic last week, that weasel Fauci tried to slime his way out of responsibility for the vast harms he caused while advising two administrations about covid. He pitifully tried to make the case for having to break a few eggs to make an omelet, or the ends justifying the means, or something:

“You have to do something that’s rather draconian, and sometimes when you do draconian things, it has collateral negative consequences. Just like when you shut things down even temporarily, it does have deleterious consequences on the economy, on the school children, you know that, but you have to make a balance.”

In other words, Fauci just admitted he KNEW the mitigation measures were going to hurt kids. He just thought it was worth it. To HIM, it was worth it. The kids? Well, who knows. Who cares?

Fauci only offered two examples to justify the “draconian things” that he “balanced” for our own benefit: (1) “overrun” New York Hospitals, and (2) “ICUs in hallways.” It’s telling that’s the best he could come up with.

Both are lies that are trivially easy to disprove.

https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch...a85a-8291-4940-8f7d-3d93f8affbc9_1162x532.png

Even worse, Fauci tried to silence any opposing opinions. The authors and signers of the Great Barrington declaration publicly warned that the lockdowns wouldn’t work, and would cause enormous collateral damages. Fauci’s response to that age advice — proven correct in hindsight — was to secretly conspire with Francis Collins to cancel the scientists who signed the declaration. “You have to make a balance.”

Paul Alexander, a former adviser to the WHO and HHS, has compiled a [list of more than 400 studies](https://brownstone.org/articles/more-than-400-studies-on-the-failure-of-compulsory-covid-interventions/) showing that COVID-19 lockdowns, shelter-in-place policies, school closures, masks and mask mandates have failed to curb virus transmission or reduce deaths.

Fauci was wrong. He’ll never admit it, of course, but at least he’s being forced now to admit “collateral negative consequences.” That’s Fauci-ese for “we broke stuff.”

Fauci: For People to Say I’m Political Is ‘Completely Crazy’

Fauci said, “You know, I don’t know, Jon. I think the misconception is I was misleading people. You know, to say that I, who have been adviser to seven presidents and have never ever veered one way or the other from an ideological standpoint, for somebody to say that I’m political, that’s completely crazy.”

Karl said, “Would you take back what you said about masks? Obviously, the guidance changed, but you were very definitive. You said there’s absolutely no reason for people to be wearing masks.”

Fauci said, “Sure if I had to do it over again, of course, I would have analyzed it a little bit better.”

Karl asked, “Was it a mistake in so many states, in so many localities, to see schools closed as long as they were?”

Fauci said, “I think, I don’t want to use the word mistake, Jon. If I do, it gets taken out of the context – the question you’re asking.”

Fauci Can’t Whitewash His Disastrous Legacy

his week, ABC News’s Jonathan Karl asked Dr. Anthony Fauci, the soon-departing head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, if it was a “mistake” for schools to be shuttered as long as they were during the Covid pandemic. “We should realize, and have realized,” Fauci answered, “that there will be deleterious collateral consequences when you do something like that,” adding that he had “nothing to do” with schools closing.

This is a transparent legacy-saving revisionism.

Fauci is the architect of school closures

Way back in the early pandemic days of 2020, The Dossier was already dedicated to exposing Fauci as the charlatan that much of the public accepts him as today. Two years before your favorite cable news hosts finally discovered that Fauci is a diabolical force, The Dossier had him marked as a hypocrite, a liar, and most importantly, a pseudoscientist.

The Dossier has produced a long timeline demonstrating that Fauci spent virtually the entirety of 2020 declaring that schools should remain closed, or used confusing language urging “caution” on the matter.

And Fauci is not just responsible for widespread school closures. Fauci is the architect of school closures. He gave his “blessing” for the closure of NYC schools indefinitely. From there, the rest of the nation followed, under the impression that Fauci was delivering medical advice.

How Church Leaders Aligned With Fauci To Discredit Experts Opposed To COVID Mandates

The point was clear — throughout the pandemic, Americans treated one another as if they were unclean.

[clip]

‘Love Your Neighbor, Get the Shot’

From the beginning of the pandemic, Collins leveraged his relationships with church leaders like Purpose Driven Life-author Rick Warren and apologist Tim Keller to convince Christians across the nation that submitting to lockdowns and mandates was a matter of obedience to God. Collins and his personal friends Christianity Today theologian Russell Moore and Billy Graham Center director Ed Stetzer also argued that Christians had a responsibility to tamp down on “conspiracy theories” like the notion that the virus leaked from a Wuhan lab or that masks were ineffective.

But a public statement that was unearthed on social media last week from BioLogos, an organization Collins founded in 2007 to create bridges between scientists and Christians, reveals further spiritual manipulation to discredit medical experts like Bhattacharya who disputed the establishment narrative.

Titled “Love Your Neighbor, Get the Shot,” it was released in late August of 2020, as Bhattacharya was publishing widely-circulated op-eds in outlets like The Wall Street Journal and sitting down for interviews warning that COVID risks were being inflated and lockdown harms were being minimized.

The signatories (which included celebrated theologian N.T. Wright, best-selling Christian authors Philip Yancey and Lisa Sharon Harper, Veggie Tales creator Phil Vischer, Christianity Today CEO Timothy Dalrymple, and several seminary presidents) promised to “actively promote accurate scientific and public health information from trustworthy, consensus sources.” They also promised to counter “misinformation” and “conspiracy theories” from non-“consensus” sources wherever they found them.

“When Dr. Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert, tells us what scientists have learned about this infectious disease,” the Christian intelligentsia exhorted their followers, “he should be listened to.”

Who should not be listened to? Scientists outside the “consensus” who were only providing “one person’s theory on YouTube.” In other words, scientists like Bhattacharya and his fellow medical dissidents.

In the closing section of the Love Your Neighbor statement, the signers pledged that “because of their faith in Jesus Christ,” they would:

  • “Wear Masks” because “Mask rules are not experts taking away our freedom, but an opportunity to follow Jesus’ command to love our neighbors as ourselves (Luke 6:31).”
  • “Get vaccinated” because “Vaccination is a provision from God” and the vaccines are “safe and effective.”
  • “Correct misinformation and conspiracy theories when we encounter them in our social media and communities.” Because “Christians are called to love the truth; we should not be swayed by falsehoods (1 Corinthians 13:6).”
In the end, more than 8,000 people, many of whom were pastors and ministry leaders, promised to work against the evidence and arguments Bhattacharya and his Great Barrington colleagues were presenting in order to promote Collins and Fauci’s policies.

As National Review’s Michael Brendan Doherty told me, “The signers were basically saying, ‘We need to treat the Church as a mission field for the Establishment.’”

"Dr. Fauci: These 2 new fast-spreading omicron Covid subvariants are pretty troublesome, BQ.1 and BQ.1.1"; of course Fauci, it's the vaccine, stupid! NOT the virus; the VAX is causing the variants

These variants are emerging because of the vaccine and its sub-optimal vaccinal pressure on the infectiousness (and virulence) of the virus; the vaccine is giving the virus infectious properties it did not formerly have.

We have underestimated the evolutionary biology and the dynamics at play between the COVID virus (coronavirus, respiratory virus) and the resulting immune response from the population, either via natural infection or vaccine. Those making decisions have disregarded the evolutionary capacity of the virus to adapt and evolve due to the population immune pressure (mounting ‘immature’ undeveloped sub-optimal immunity). Especially if the immune response is sub-optimal and immature with immune fixation and priming (prejudice) that has induced vaccinal antibodies that do not neutralize the antigen (in this case Wuhan vaccine spike antibodies facing omicron BA.5 spike/clade).

This interplay and dance between virus and host immune system should have been the cardinal issue on day one for today, we are faced with infectious variant after infectious variant due to the non-sterilizing, non-neutralizing vaccine (vaccinal antibodies) that do not stop infection or transmission, placing the spike and binding domains under massive Darwinian selection pressure to select for the more ‘fitter’ infectious variants. The danger is that we can drive the emergence of a more virulent lethal sub-variant clade.

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....

Makes you think that they've moved out of the physical lab and into the real world for their continued gain-of-function experiments. The whole world is now a petri dish.

🔥 More than a year ago, I told Dr. Jay Bhattacharya that I thought there was enough evidence already in public record to sue that rat weasel Fauci for civil rights violations under the First Amendment, for the campaign that Fauci and the despicable Collins undertook in 2020 to destroy Jay and the other authors of the Great Barrington Declaration by branding them as “fringe scientists.”

Well.

In the best news of 2022, and I’m not exaggerating, yesterday a federal court in Louisiana overruled the federal government’s objections, ordered Dr. Fauci and other government officials to sit for depositions under oath, and said “The Court sees the importance of having Dr. Fauci make statements under oath as it relates to the issues of this matter.”

Finally! That little weasel is going to have to answer some hard questions!

The lawsuit, filed by the State of Missouri, alleges that Fauci and other government officials engaged in a corrupt scheme to deploy the full might of the U.S. government to illegally suppress Americans’ free speech during the pandemic. Examples cited in the Court’s order include:

1) the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 Presidential election; 2) speech about the lab leak theory of COVID-19’s origin; 3) speech about the efficiency of masks and COVID-19 lockdowns; 4) speech about election integrity and the security of voting by mail; 5) censorship and suppression of speech by Plaintiffs Dr. Jayanta Bhattacharya and Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, co-authors of the Great Barrington Declaration; 6) censorship and suppression of Jim Hoft, owner of The Gateway Pundit, on social-media platforms; and 7) censorship and suppression of Jill Hines, co-director of Health Freedom Louisiana and Reopen Louisiana on social-media platforms.

In support of its pending motion for a preliminary injunction, Missouri wants to take the expedited depositions of Tony Fauci (NIH), Rob Flaherty (White House), Andy Slavitt (White House), Jen Psaki (White House), Elvis Chan (FBI), Jen Easterly (CISA), Lauren Protenis (CISA), Vivek Murthy (Surgeon General), Carol Crawford (CDC), and Daniel Kimmage (State Dept.).

Missouri’s deposition requests were asking the Court for a lot. First of all, there’s a doctrine protecting public officials from being deposed except under exceptional circumstances. They can’t be sitting in depositions all the time, they’d never get any work done. And second, another doctrine protects public officials from having to sit for deposition quickly (or, ‘expedited’). Their schedules are challenging, because they are constantly involved in very important government business and have meetings with super important people and stuff like that.

But the court found sufficient ‘extraordinary cause’ to overrule BOTH doctrines. So not only will Missouri get to depose Fauci and the others, but Missouri will be allowed to set the depositions at the speed of science.

It’s only fair.

Tellingly, the Court has already found that Dr. Fauci WAS involved in censorship efforts, just from the publicly-available emails:

…the Court is aware of a number of substantive reasons why Dr. Fauci’s deposition should be taken. The first is the publicly available emails that prove that Dr. Fauci was communicating and acting as an intermediary for others in order to censor information from being shared across multiple social-media outlets…. [and] the Court has no doubt that Dr. Fauci was engaging in communications with high-ranking social-media officials, which is extremely relevant in the matter at hand.

Note the Court’s use of the word, “prove,” above. The judge wasn’t just saying Missouri’d “alleged” Fauci was involved in censorship. Instead, the Court said the publicly-available emails “prove” it. That’s a galaxy of difference.

The Court then went through each of the other nine witnesses, one by one, and catalogued the factual reasons why “exceptional circumstances exist” for each government witness, and explained why they must sit for an expedited deposition.

It’s such a wonderful order! We’ve been waiting so long for something like this. I feel frustrated because I wish I had more time this morning to summarize the rest of the order for you, it’s a whopper. (But duty calls.)

So, here’s the link to the order. I recommend you read it, and I don’t often say that about legal filings. You’re going to love it.

Dr. Fauci Will Be Deposed on November 23rd in Missouri-Louisiana Social Media Collusion Case with Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft as Plaintiff

The Gateway Pundit previously reported in May that Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, along with Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) against the Biden Administration, including Biden himself, Anthony Fauci, the Department of Homeland Security and nearly a dozen federal agencies and Secretaries.

The suit alleges a massive coordinated effort by the Deep State (permanent administrative state) to work with Big Tech to censor and manipulate Americans – from average citizens to news outlets – on issues including the Hunter Biden Laptop from Hell, 2020 Election Integrity, COVID-19 origin and extent skepticism, COVID-19 vaccine skepticism, among other issues.

Here’s a copy of the First Amended Complaint.

Fauci seethes over ‘terrible’ booster uptake, blames 'lies and misinformation'

"We have a COVID vaccine and a booster that is matched very well to the circulating virus and yet only about 15% of people who have been vaccinated have gotten the boost, that is terrible," Fauci raged, like a pharma rep who failed to meet his sales quota. "We've got to do better than that."

In total, only about 7% of all Americans have taken the new shot, according to the CDC.

The boosters were only tested on mice, but approved for emergency use through the FDA’s rubber stamp partnership with Pfizer and Moderna.

There is no evidence that the boosters do anything beneficial to help combat Covid-19. Recent studies by both Columbia and Harvard found that the new boosters are no more effective than the old expired mRNA shots. Pfizer, which obviously has a conflict of interest in the matter, has released its own “study” claiming otherwise.

Speaking of lies and misinformation…

Chaos Erupts in White House Briefing As Fauci Delivers His 'Final Message'

Jean-Pierre seems to have conveniently forgotten that Fauci advocated for school closures early in the pandemic, advised against buying masks initially, withheld information from Americans he thought we couldn't handle, and joined Biden to demonize Americans who chose not to get vaccinated. Still, it's hard to believe that Tuesday might actually be the last official White House briefing room edict from Fauci ahead of his retirement from government next month.

In terms of his "final message," Fauci delivered exactly what we've come to expect from him over the past few years. "My message — and my final message, maybe the final message I give you from this podium — is that please, for your own safety, for that of your family, get your updated COVID-19 shot as soon as you're eligible to protect yourself, your family, and your community," he urged.
