I think anyone having an opinion about this enough to post, and respond, to her deciding not to compete can be comically described as a meltdown.
The truth is none of the folks in the original thread felt it was worth the effort to post about the amazing job the team did when they got the gold. They decided to weigh in on what was clearly a very difficult decision for Simone Biles.
