Hoping this ends on a positive note. The last time I watched the Olympics was when Michael Phelps competed (mandatory for me, hometown boy). I didn't watch the opening, so I have NO idea what the fuss is all about, but I did catch this Pommel Horse guy on Yahoo of all places. Now that guy looks like someone I'd wouldn't date in high school, but damn....his execution was spectacular. And he was so excited with his own performance. That's was something worth watching and celebrating IMHO especially since he has vision issues. Listen to the audience. Psyched, kid was a pretty much a nobody and his performance gave them a bronze.
