Oh and by the way - if kids are invited to these things on Saturdays, or Sundays, I am out anyway, as I have enough of those types of events in my schedule. Also, my kids are teens and early 20's -I am not looking to hang out with tons of little childrens. I don't have a private forum to post this in - so I'm just making a public announcement.

I'm pretty sure this makes me a b*tch, so maybe I'll finally get some b*tch points!

I feel that way whenever my sister visits with her 2 & 4 yr. olds.

Not a good hatch, but we got 9 chickens of assorted breeds, and two khaki campbell ducks..

BUT somebody I work with wanted chickens, so we shared an order of Araucanas (Easter Egger) chickens. We each have 7 hens and one rooster.

So my brooder is split in half, one month old chicks with 2 4 week old ducks on one side, and the other side has the one week old chicks with puffy cheeks..

Couple more weeks and the chicks and the ducks can go out to the coop, and the little guys will have it all to themselves.
