I feel that way whenever my sister visits with her 2 & 4 yr. olds.

Not a good hatch, but we got 9 chickens of assorted breeds, and two khaki campbell ducks..

BUT somebody I work with wanted chickens, so we shared an order of Araucanas (Easter Egger) chickens. We each have 7 hens and one rooster.

So my brooder is split in half, one month old chicks with 2 4 week old ducks on one side, and the other side has the one week old chicks with puffy cheeks..

Couple more weeks and the chicks and the ducks can go out to the coop, and the little guys will have it all to themselves.
