Skateboards ???

Back in the saddle
Thanks folks, I have to work tonight and plan to swing through FDR Blvd. and go back there and see if this Skate Shop is still there. If not and nothing else pops up I likely be looking at Waldorf then. Was just hoping to find a local, specialized shop that might make adjustments and such cheap if I buy from them. I'll poke around a bit and do some more looking. About 125 per board sounds OK to me. Plus they have outgrown all there current helmets and pads and such so I'll be replacing that as well. I figure a budget of $350 for gearing up two boys sounds doable.

That store is no longer there. My son wanted to stop in back over the summer and they were closed up.
I looked on line at Skatewarehouse.com for some DC shoes that my son wanted. He had also picked out a board. But until he shows me that he can take care of the Wal-mart cheap one then he won't be getting that 100.00 one.
There is also a store some where in Waldorf but not sure where.

Yep,, I had to go over thee last night to volunteer at SMARTCO again and looked around for it. I guess it was in the space that is vacant now.

Oh well, looks like some of the others have shot me a few good ideas up north. With a bit of uck on my side X-Mas just might be done by the time the weekend is out. :lmao:

Jeff,

Central Skateboard in Waldorf is execellent. They are highly knowledgable people and awesome products. IF they want better go out and spend the extra buck instead of some garbage skateboard from Walmart or Target !

They have not said anything about wanting anything better but they have taken decent enough care of them in the past. I only get my boys every other weekend and if it's nice out and I am not out with them the first thing they tend to try to get into is the skateboards so I figured I would surprise them with some better quality goodies for X-mas.

Does Central Skateboard have a website???
