Mine was a little high, I turned off the disco ball in my livingroom, drained the hot tub and unplugged 5 of my lava lamps.

Mine was not high either. On the bottom of your bill, you can compare last year's kwH to your useage this year during the same month.


Then again, there are fewer showers in my house than last year... :ohwell:

Mine doubled (and I'm only there on weekends). I'm on the even monthly payment plan so I looked thru my old bills and saw that they were under charging me for a year.

I also think turning off the heat-A/C during the week, then blasting it on the weekends may have contributed. I'm still going to compare old Kw usage to new tonight though.

Is it really so difficult for some of you to keep your OT comments to the chit chat forum?

I had a serious question. I guess I shouldn't have bothered.

For anyone who is interested, I called SMECO and they told me this month has shown an increase for many customers due to the distribution charge (they do not use the same supplier each month so they don't have a set cost/month)

My utility reading was on par with last year.

I answered your question. Yes, mine was higher than normal. It was also pink.

You don't like to have fun whilst gathering information? :huggy:
