For anyone who is interested, I called SMECO and they told me this month has shown an increase for many customers due to the distribution charge (they do not use the same supplier each month so they don't have a set cost/month) My utility reading was on par with last year.

You've been a member since Feb. of '03 with 70 posts. Maybe if you participated a little more you'd know that what you see is what you get (now the "what" boys are going to wanna know which "what" she gets).

if you continue to post about people being off topic..aren't you yourself being off topic? I didn't see the word smeco in that post at all. I did a check of my SMECO bill back in May sometime and found that SMECO had went up 28.5%. I believe it actually happened in January of this year. So yep I'm sure your summer bill did look much higher if your running AC. I about died when I got my bill this month. It's really sad that all the utilities are so sky high now around here. I mean I paid $3.05 a gal for my propane this month, what's things coming too.
