No problem just break out the evaporative cooling vest

I don't think we will get any snow. It would be nice to get a bunch of snow so I could take the day off and go into the woods and do some cutting.

NWS just lowered their DC forecast from a high of 35 and 65% chance of smow to a high of 31 and a 90% chance of smow. It looks like the colder air will be pushing further south. SOMD may just have a chance of getting more white stuff.

Well that just doomed us to 12". Thanks! :smack:

The weather forecasters in my hometown of Louisville KY are probably STILL getting grilled over the storm we got in January '94, when we got 17 inches of snow OVERNIGHT. Got me out of school for two whole weeks (I lived in a rural county, lots of back roads) and it damn near shut down Louisville for a week.

I take it the weather forecasters in this area are much the same? :lmao:

hmmm.. could u have them deliver the smow a bit earlier so that all the people who are driving "white knuckled" in it will stay home?

I guess I'll post this, but most probably already have heard.

A STRONG CLIPPER WEATHER SYSTEM OVER THE GREAT LAKES WILL CROSS
THE MID ATLANTIC WEDNESDAY. A BAND OF SNOW WILL FALL NORTH OF THE
TRACK OF THE LOW. SNOW WILL BEGIN AROUND DAYBREAK ACROSS LOWER
SOUTHERN MARYLAND AND THE PIEDMONT OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA.

1 TO 3 INCHES TOTAL SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED THROUGH WEDNESDAY IN THE
ADVISORY AREA. SNOW WILL END SHORTLY AFTER NIGHTFALL WEDNESDAY.

A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND
LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

For purely selfish reasons - and medicinal ones - I BEG that we get smow over rain.

After bracing up the neck and layering like the stay puff marshmallow man, then bracing up each girl indiviually and doubly (with an anti-pull and choker for extra protection), I then SHOULD have to take them right out front or across the street.... :blahblah:

With the rain, even having deeply treaded, non-skid, anti-slip shoes, I have almost bitten the bullet.

And, as much as they seem to dislike the bath from the sky, it takes them longer to find their "right" spots.

Cleaning the three of us after, in the correct healing mode, then puts me straight on a course to napville.

Smow, on the other hand seems to be so much less messy, less risky and the girls are very happy to have the big flakes all around them.

just one of those days...
Well this may be our last chance at smow this year, so maybe it will be worth it. I am tired of the cold already. So if we get just one last snow we can all start wishing for the beautiful weather of Spring. I am ready to get started working in my yard!
