Phyxius said:I can bring my other mare, Ruby. She's not too snaily. She's a 20 yr old QH that does not act like a 20 yr old QH. I've got a Bates Caprilli you can use with her.
Here's Mark on Ruby (in the front, dark bay mare) and Sarah on her horse, Dee on one of our neighborhood "trail rides".

chevylover said:I just saw the pic of Dee. How long has she had her? She looks like a horse I used to ride. She was owned by a friend of mine. Is she a dun? Do you know her full name, if she has one?
Phyxius said:Dee is 18. She was originally local. I know Nick used to ride her. She went to the University of Maryland to be a lesson horse. But, someone thought they could walk her through a stall door that wasn't all the way opened and she fractured her hip. She was lame and UMD wanted to send her to auction. Sarah convinced them to sell to her. She's sound to trailride lightly.
The full name is Missy Dee Bar Flower.

chevylover said:My goodness, she could be the one I rode! I rode a dun QH named Missy Dee Bar about ten years ago. I'm not sure about the Flower. She had a problem with her right shoulder. She would also kick at other horses that came up behind her in the ring. She didn't make the best show girl, so her owner sold her. I never knew what happened to her. She looks just like her! I wonder if they could be one in the same?
Pasofever said:She was Cheryl Beans mare for a long time.....She was in St Marys County for years.

Cowgirl said:She was getting pissy with another horse and tried to run through the door. I don't think someone was walking her....it wouldn't have fractured her hip if they were just leading her.
