Do your really not understand the definition of forecasting?Mom just emailed me to say that the news is reporting St Mary's will get about 5 inches. I sure wish they'd make up their minds. First, a few inches of snow, then a blizzard, then nothing and now back to a few inches.![]()
Looks like a big storm, if it doesn't fizzle out, Maryland could get quite a bit of snow out of it.

weather.com put us under a winter storm watch and they say we could get 5+inches of snow. I will believe it when I see it.![]()

Through St. Mary's??? That's a big shift considering the track has been through the Carolinas with us on the northern edge.

The predictions keep changing because the weather pattern keeps changing.
Yep... here is the forecast for mid-day Saturday. Forecast Maps : Weather Underground
See, that's the same map that they're showing at accuweather.com but if you put in PF's zip code, we're getting pretty much nothing..although it's been changing back and forth for a few days. If you put in Leonardtown's zip, it's a little more snow.

The map is not consistent with the predictions for the different cities in Southern Maryand though. I've been looking at this site for a few days.
