Snow totals?

Mom just emailed me to say that the news is reporting St Mary's will get about 5 inches. I sure wish they'd make up their minds. First, a few inches of snow, then a blizzard, then nothing and now back to a few inches.

Do your really not understand the definition of forecasting?

The predictions keep changing because the weather pattern keeps changing.

It all depends on how it tracks. We've got bread, TP, and plenty of wood on the porch, so it can do whatever it wants!!!

weather.com put us under a winter storm watch and they say we could get 5+inches of snow. I will believe it when I see it. :)

really? I personally feel that weather.com is the most accurate source for us when it comes to precip. When they started talking about the big snow in December I told my officemate to see what they said...he said, alot...i was like crap!

Weather Underground has shifted the storm north a bit and now has it tracking through St. Mary's again. :yay:

Through St. Mary's??? That's a big shift considering the track has been through the Carolinas with us on the northern edge.

See, that's the same map that they're showing at accuweather.com but if you put in PF's zip code, we're getting pretty much nothing..although it's been changing back and forth for a few days. If you put in Leonardtown's zip, it's a little more snow.

AccuWeather.com

Yep. The snow of 2001 Leonardtown got over 10 inches but Charlotte Hall was only about 2. Charles county was flurries.
