Actually, the closest place to us with a winter storm warning is King George County, and the NWS is predicting 5+ inches.

National Weather Service Watch Warning Advisory Summary

As I said......

The heavier snow will be to the south and the closest watch areas to SoMD are expecting 1-4 inches and we're suppoed to get less of whatever they get. We'll have to see if more watches are issued as time progresses.

...it looks like they added some more watch areas. Still, unless it changes, the heavier snow falls will be south of SoMD.

Overcast, breezy and cold; a bit of late-night snow, accumulating a coating to an inch

Well, should I bolt the snow blade to the riding mower, and ruin everybody winter fantasy, or leave it off and thereby ensure we get a lot of snow?

Leave it off! For the love of god! I'm not borrowing a snow shovel for that very same reason.

I'm predicting 3.26 inches for the Callaway area. Heck, my guess can't be any worse than the meteorologists that guess and make a quarter of a million doing that.
