Which of my FB friends will stomp off in a huff this time?

It occurs to me that Democrats can't have a discussion, let alone a debate, about their anointed one. If you dare criticize their blessed choice, they consider it a personal attack. Even if you talk pure policy and don't use any descriptive language, the very fact that you disagree with them causes them to melt down in a puddle of abuse.

Alternately, they ask you questions, you answer them, they ignore your answer, and ask you the exact same questions a day or two later.

"Why do you support Trump?"
(insert a detailed explanation of why)
... ... ....
2 days later:
"Why do you support Trump???"

Replace that question with "Why won't you vote for Kamala???" and it's the exact same.

Also if I see some Dembot friend has posted a Kamala fawn on their wall, I scroll right on by. I don't feel the need to comment or insult them or argue with them. Democrats are physically incapable of doing that. They MUST preach their gospel. AND they must do it in derogatory terms, insulting you or the candidate instead of speaking to policy issues.

If you simply ask them why they support thusandsuch candidate, they lose their chit hard and start lobbing a bunch of personal attacks.

And then they have the gall to insist that *I* am a low information voter who is attacking them.

Ugh.

I don't have that problem wit any of my friends. My views are so well known they don't want to start me off.
Why do I support Trump.?
I have seen the opposition and they don't just suck, they are a sinkhole with no bottom.

Any fool that has lived through the last 3 1/2 years and doesn't vote for Trump against this moron the democrats have endorsed is not playing with a full deck, and I will tell them so in no uncertain terms.

I had this problem with family members. That is why I ended up leaving FB. They would post all kinds of stupid memes and such of Trump and then make fun of how all of the republicans were nothing but uneducated idiots. I was like Hey, that's me! Then they would tell me not to take it personally. Over and over again. Whatever.

We used to all enjoy discussing politics, even though we were on different sides but they can't discuss it anymore. Family gatherings are always great.

Social Media acquaintances come and go, but it still bothers me a lot that I lost a very old dirt world friend over this crap. He couldn't be any more a Democrat if you paid him.

My lifelong bestie who was like a sister to me since childhood threw me over for Democrat propaganda. Which just goes to show - Democrats don't care about anything but their cult.

Fight lies with truth and always remain faithful to your own principles. Principles that come from life experiences, from seeing truth with your own eyes. Why make enemies of those who are susceptible to the ignorance of democrats. Tell them the truth, if they don't want to listen to it, just walk away.
Trying to change a fool from their foolishness is not a good use of your time. Just walk away.

I have a cousin who actually was elected mayor of a good sized city outside of NYC - as a Republican.

A good dozen years before that, he was as obnoxious a Democrat as you could find - he even defended Jimmy Carter and blamed all of his failed Presidency on the Arab Oil Embargo - which if you will recall happened entirely under NIXON'S administration. But he was also VERY SMART - still is - and could convincingly argue his point. He was after all, a very smart lawyer.

LIFE changed his mind. Once you get into office, he found that you either do a good job managing - conservatively - or you do a good job getting re-elected, work the optics, lie to the right donors and play the poltics game. I think he did two terms before simply quitting. He is still a Democrat at HEART -but a very conservative one.

My 5th grade teacher won't talk to me when I dared question why I should pay more in taxes to give people more "help".

He can't be all that smart if the above is true.
Democrats come in all shapes and sizes. My left coast family are D’s just because they’re big believers in lgb rights and are liberal the D’s are a better fit. Myself I’m kind of a believer in those same rights, but I’m very conservative otherwise so neither is a perfect fit.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

Exactly what are the rights we normal hetero people have that the sexually challenged and confused don't have? Asking for a friend.

Well back when I dropped the R group they weren’t allowed to get married or adopt children. Since that time things have changed, but not enough to make me want to rejoin them.

My son did a report in 9th grade Chopticon 2014, with repealing the Hughes Amendment. It didn't go well for him.
I can imagine the meltdown that brought on.

When Zack was still in Chopticon he wore one of the shirts I bought him at a gun show, don't remember which, but it caused a phone call to me at work. :lmao:

They had to suck it up an endure it for the day.
