So, how does this work?

Sounds great - I've actually had cats that went crazy upon being trapped and then later turned out to NOT be feral .... so you're never really sure until they have time to relax. The degree to which a cat is feral can also vary of course. I have a feral that now is more like a skittish tame cat than feral after years of being an indoor cat.

I recently trapped a kitten that made a home in my hay shed. I kept her in our upstairs bathroom isolated from all other pets until I could get her in to be tested for FeLV and FIV. She was negative, so I got her vaccinated and managed to find her a great home! She was pretty wild when I caught her, but she calmed right down and turned into a very nice kitty! Hopefully your boy will calm down when you catch him too.

Our rescue tests the cats/kittens before surgery and if postive, sadly we euthanize. Too many healthy ones that need homes. Test results are same day.

Just let me know what you want/need.

Aids cats/kittens make wonderful pets and can live for many years. It just takes someone that can get over the Aids stigma to make one their pet.

Would you like to take the kitty?

I have five in my house now. I think if I made it six, my husband would throw all of us out. I brought three strays back from Japan along with the two that I took over there. He says that I have met my cat limit.

I give you 10 years and you will be muttering unintelligibly, sitting on your front porch in a bathrobe, and hucking cats at passerby. :yay:
