So - RFK Jr?

Rumor mill has it that he - and especially his partner - are thinking of leaving the race. No point in fighting for a spot in November with the Democrats determined to stop him from being on the ballot.

That's not what's making the news - it's that he may throw his support - behind Trump.

Personally, I will believe it, when I see it. Politically - he's still left, at least, left-LEANING. He's square on with Trump on a handful of issues, but he has also been highly critical of Trump. FWIW, Trump has said there would be a place for him in his administration if he wants it.

I'ma wait and see. I have no idea what him simply dropping out would do to the race. Previously, it was a vote for someone who wasn't Trump but also wasn't the useless bump on the ass of this country which has been Biden. If you didn't want to vote for the Don, you could choose RFK Jr. I don't know that even an ENDORSEMENT from him would mean, his voters would go for Trump. I think they would feel betrayed.

Looking for a cabinet position and doesn't care who gives it to him.

If it were anyone other than HIM I’d agree. I think RFK Jr is a bit of an idealist and this story has no legs.
Respectfully disagree. I'm unsure when he sought out Trump, but it was only several days ago he sought out Harris and was rebuffed. In my opinion, that's playing both sides to get a little somethin somethin for himself. It's definitely not Independent.

RFK will vote the D like all good little Ds do. Their overlords can attack them, attack their family, publicly humiliate them, and they will still vote the D. I call it "Lewinsky Syndrome".

More likely he'll skip the President box. If that's NY, that's a +1 for Trump.

RFK Jr will endorse Trump.

(Totally ignoring the man above sticking his tongue out at me.)

I, for one, would love to see him run as a third party candidate.

I would ALSO love to listen to every Democrat, to the man, say that a vote for RKF Jr. is a vote for Trump, and every Republican, to the man, say that a vote for RFK Jr. is a vote for Harris.

And a whopping 0 people say that a vote for RFK Jr. is a vote for ... RFK Jr.

Jill Stein is doing that and the Democrats are trying to keep her off the ballot. Because THAT is how you save democracy.

That's only because to them "saving democracy" means, WE have to be in charge of everything. And for good. (Bear in mind, they honestly believe that saving democracy means, beating Trump by any means necessary, legal or not).

Which isn't the slightest bit democracy, but that's how they do things.
