You guys are so funny!

I went through around 8:00pm last night and watched a tractor trailer try to navigate it with no room to maneuver. Maybe it will be a little wider when they pretty it up.

Good point!! I almost mentioned that.

I towed my boat through there and even with swinging wide, the trailer tires rolled up on the center island.

Easy enough to fix..... a "NO THRU TRUCKS" sign. Get over onto 235 where he belongs....

Seen enough big trucks on Chancellors run lost... all they do is cause backups.

Before I get slammed.... I wasn't talking about you and your boat.... the circle should be wide enough for school busses and a ladder truck otherwise it's not designed properly.

Not slammin ya but why do trucks "belong" on 235?? There are many stores and businesses in this area that are served by tractor trailers. 235 stops at the Wawa in Mechanicsville and becomes 5.

234 is a major highway connecting St. Mary's to VA via 301 and Chuck county.

It would be ridiculous and unreasonable to require truckers to go all the way to Waldork and down 301 (through all those lights) to get to VA.

The circle is still incomplete. I certainly hope there are plans to widen it.

I know it's just temporary, but the circle could use some markings instead of just a bunch of barrels all over the place.

Yea that would help. I believe once they finish paving, there'll be plenty of room.

It's so nice not to have to stop from 238 now. :yay:

I don't know but it seems like putting up 4 stop signs at the intersection in Chaptico would have been alot cheaper and just as effective as the whole stupid circle thing.

:nono: Negative!!!

4 stop signs would have only compounded the problem.

Now all you have to do is yeild to traffic in the circle and no stopping. :yay:
