That's just so wrong. We should at least wait until August to start the Lions jokes.

I'd like to see UNC win, but I hope MSU gets back into this game. As well as they have played to get here, it would be a shame for them to go out like this.

there is quite a winning streak in that visitor's locker room

i think it's pretty pathetic of michigan state. all season they played well except for 1 game against UNC, at Ford Field. So what do they do? They lay ANOTHER egg against the SAME team in the SAME location with a massive crowd, mostly cheering them on...in the National Championship game! Pathetic!

The game was over 5 minutes in.

Funny, is Md the only team to have beaten the final 2 this year? They smoked Mich St earlier this year and beat NC the last week or 2 of regular season.

Yeah, I remember looking at the score with like 14:20 on the clock in the first half and UNC was up by like 18.

Yep. Maryland is the only team that beat both championship teams this year.

Whats pride have to do with it? You make it sound like they didn't try. Sometimes teams are just that much better. Even Izzo said beforehand that if each team played to their capabilites, it would be a loss for them. Awful lot of talent for Mich St to overcome, I don't look at it as them laying an egg, they just lost to the better team.

I was trying to remember what Izzo said. I knew he said something to the effect that even if they play their best they still don't have enough.

They lost to a better team, yes...but if they made it to the championships AND had the home crowd they were good enough where they should have made it a very competitive game. I just don't see how a top team like that can struggle against UNC so badly, twice, when lesser teams beat UNC and gave them tougher games all season long.
