This is a rare recording of the Collins Kids on Tex Ritter's show back in the '50s. A couple of notes, Lorrie was a little hottie (apparently, Ricky Nelson agreed), and Larry was a pint-sized guitar man with moves that Michael Jackson only wished he could do.



Speaking of Ricky Nelson and Lorrie Collins:



As a bit of trivia, Larry Collins went on to write "Delta Dawn," made famous primarily by Tanya Tucker, and "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma," the most well-know version by David Frizzell and Shelly West.
