Saw Jersey Boys (a musical based on the life and times of Frankie Valli & The 4 Seasons) up in DC last week and forgot how much fun some of their music was/is. My favorite and the closing number:

Awesome show! :yahoo:

The late, great Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins, along with Diana Trask and Ralph Emory.

Diana Trask was a VERY underrated, though very popular singer in the '70s here in this country. Unfortunately for her, country, at the time, was still a very regional (for the most part) genre, and she was competing against the likes of Dolly, Loretta, Tammy, Emmy Lou, and a raft other established queens of country music. She was also competing against established male stars like Sonny James, Don Gibson, Charlie Pride, and many others. That's not to mention that Rock and Roll, and other genres held sway in much of the country at the time. In spite of all that, she did very well for herself.
