An update on our situation...

Bikes and all the stuff from the house are in storage...still...:frown:

My soon-to-be mother-in-law found us a house(forgot to post in last post), but the house isn't ready until January. Not even really sure where it is! Somewhere near Scotland. We aren't going to get to look at it before me move in. Scary. But, I am hoping that my mother-in-law will do a good job picking it out for us.

We are staying in a hotel in TX until next weekend. Not sure where we are going from there. But I am going to break my bike out this weekend...no matter what the boy says. I need to ride. Hopefully the weather will be nice.

Also, thinking about selling the Wing and getting something more sporty. Any ideas?? I love the Wing, but it's just not me.

Thanks for listening and helping out. I appreciate it.

Scotland, did you ask if it had indoor plumbing, running water??

It is a NICE place to live, and the commute from South of the base is many times nicer then the commute from the North of the Base.

I got all kinds of ideas for SPortier, but just as comfortable.. You looking for a Sport Tourer, something you can still do 800 miles in a day comfortabley but still be able to scrape the footpegs in the twisties, or you looking for something to just scream on??

Here's a pic of me and the V Strom DL1000. I've got the Givi Monokey luggage, 45l on the sides and 52l on the top. Love it :yay: Rode down to Deals Gap last summer and that convinced me to get a Corbin seat
Thought it might be a pain to have a chain, but it's only needed adjustment twice in 10k miles and I found a "clean" chain lube. Having a centerstand makes most maintenance easy.
