Spa massage question/referral

OK Ladies i'm a guy don't shoot. Looking for some advice, suggestions, recommendations, and or critiques... Thinking of getting my wife and sister in law a gift coupon??? not sure that is the right word. To a day of being spoiled. e.g. Massage, Facials, body scrubs with seaweed and rocks or whatever it is they do at these kind of places ( very unknowing on this subject) thats why i'm asking here?? Thinking about getting it from The Rod n Reel SPA in Chesapeake Beach. Has anybody been there good bad indifferent, any other recommendations, thinking about 2 gift coupons about $300.00 apiece. From looking at the internet menu this includes most of the services. Just don't know if this is a good place to have it done or if anyone has a better recommendation? appreciate any responses?

Wow, that is a great gift! If LaPlata is not too far, there are some spa's over there as well. have not been to any over here, only the ones in VA, but it is amazing to have the full treatment. Good luck!

signature spa and salon

I highly recommend the Signature Spa and Salon that recently opened in Bel Alton on 301 and Irving Road. The facility is nicely decorated and the personnel is professional and personable. I have had a pedicure, manicure, facial, massage, and hair cut. All well done. The prices are reasonable.

Can I be the sister in law? I sure could use a day spa treatment! My husband got me one for our anniversary. The only problem I had was relaxing and I left in between cause I got bored easily. But hey I'd be willing to give it another shot!

My husband bought me a gift certificate from Aria Spa, right there in Huntingtown. Aurora, my skin care specialist really knows her stuff. I highly recommend them. For $300, they should have a lot of options for a whole day of pampering.

I do not know where you want to drive to? I would go to the only salon and spa in St. Mary's County. Creative Touch Salon, Spa and Fitness. They have everything women and men are looking for. They also have teeth whitening like you would get at the dentist, except, it is half the price. I have gotten massages, facials (the works) at a very reasonable price. Creative Touch is in Leonardtown, Maryland. They do sell gift certificates. I got one for my girlfriend when she had a baby. Good Luck!:)

I heard the one in Bel Alton, that someone else mentioned, is awesome! A friend of mine went there with some girls from owrk a few weeks ago and loved it. I am thinking of doing massages with my girlfriends for Christmas.

AMEN to that! The owner probably won't be an owner for long and with any luck she'll lose her license to operate a business. Any fool who thinks she can offer massages without a licensed massage therapist and actually goes through with it has no respect for the law whatsoever.

Oh and that's just the starts... how about the fact that she has girls working for her who do nails without having completed ANY kind of training? It's not like they've been to school and just haven't completed their license, often times they've never even taken a class. And she charges for that?

But wait.. best of all of this is someone desperate enough for business that she'll have her minions come onto a site, pretend to be a customer and brag the place up. How freakin' pathetic is that?

By the way... how's the Donny Deutsch show going? :yahoo:

im going to scalped hopefully this weekend. itts in prince frederick, u cna look them up scalped salin and spa. looks really nice and im looking forward to it. wont your wife be mad if you give her sister a facial? abhahahahahha
