What's your favorite, do you even have one?

I love love love basmati. It smells so good cooking, and usually comes out as separate grains

I've been getting the VeeTee pre-cooked rice, 2 minutes in the microwave and it's pretty darn close to a rice cooker in a fraction of the time. I like the Thai Jasmine version.

Not a fan. Maybe once a year I'll make wild rice with a sauce of some sort. Niecey and I had a dinner date at Asahi last week and I sub the rice for extra veggies. I didn't even sneak a bite of her fried rice. :sshrug:

When I eat rice, which is rare, I will make a whole grain rice blend (with quinoa, maybe). I don't care for plain, white rice at all. I rarely eat Asian food anymore - I just don't care for it anymore, but when I did eat it, I liked fried rice. When I order Mexican food out, and it comes with rice & beans, I will ask for extra Spanish rice & no beans. (blech)

I'm cutting carbs so rice is out, but I used to like jasmine, basmati, or wild rice. White rice is for sick dogs. When my stomach is being stupid I drink Fairlife shakes.

Ruff ruff! First RR with my baby cabbages, now you with my white rice. Chinese restaurant white rice maybe, but real cooks know how to rock it. :larry:

Piping hot organic mashed potatoes with loads of Kerrygold butter, salt & pepper. Helps to keep the chill away.
