If you need to make a left hand turn from Rt. 235 North onto St. Andrew's Church Road you might want to find an alternate Route home. It is closed by St. Mary's County's Sheriff's Department due to a Hostage Situation at the BJ's Gas Station.

Just got this e-mail. Anyone have more info...... :tap:

235 northbound and southbound are open

Going to Calvert across the bridge is open as well



Go north on 235 and turn left on Leonardtown Hollywood Rd to get to Leonardtown or take Great Mills Rd to Rt 5 and go that way or go north on 235 and turn left at the first entrance to Wildewood and go the back way to St.Andrew's Church Rd and go south to get to Leonardtown.

Can't they just shoot him so those of us who work all day, and don't have time to be involved with police, can just drive home? Traffic is bad enough on 235 without this douche-bag screwing up traffic flow...

Damn road was still closed at 5:45. Took me 45 minutes to get from Gate 1 to Wildewood. :ohwell:

They just said on Channel 9, that "talks broke down" and they tear gassed the home and stormed the place. I don't know when that happened though. They said he was holding his wife hostage.
