Have you ever cheered before ?

I cheered for years but I never coached.

I always thought that once I got older I wouldn't know any more cool moves or cheers for the kids to do.
I cheered when I was in 7th and 8th grade for private schools, and in highschool I cheered my 9th and 10th grade years. I remember most of the arm positions etc.

Mine too; I helped out our coach last year, but it wasn't "official"; this year, I'll be flashin' the badge and bright lights, packing my gun and club while directing the youngin's like I've never seen a "Performance Coaching" course.

Was it difficult to teach the kids the cheers and have them memorize them?

Keeping their focus was the hardest thing (they were a bunch of 5 year olds). But anything repeated 500 times is bound to get drilled in to the thickest of skulls.
