So, just report the driver, put his job in jeopardy not knowing the whole story? What got him/ her to the point of swearing, what was the word he used? I know, lets tell little Johny f-Up that he can do ANYTHING he wants, and if an adult DARES to tell him to stop or rasies their voice at him, Mommy and Daddy wil run to little Johny f-Up side and demand retribution!!jenbengen said:Report it. There are kids on that bus who are 5 years old. Why wait until it escalates?
Please hand over your :soapbox: you need a timeout.jenbengen said:Oh, and just as I would expect the driver to be reported, I'd expect every disrespectful child to be reported, too. I've seen the antics on my daughter's bus and it really ticks me off. What happened to teaching kids to respect others? Fortunately, we have an awesome bus driver!
Don't blame her kids... you know very well the daycare they had to deal with prior to being old enough to go to school...K_Jo said:I wouldn't trust my kids with the woman who drives Mrs. Jones's kids to school.
itsbob said:And there is the answer to why we have so many problems with kids these days..
Growing up I was just afraid of getting a beat down from the nighborhood adults if they caught me doing something wrong as I did from my parents. Wrong is wrong.. and if it's only an ass-chewing and not a beating big flippin deal..
Teachers are now powerless to discipline problem kids, where as our principal had an OAR in his office for the true troublemakers. These days a teacher looks at a kid the wrong way their job is in jeopardy.. "MOMMY, Mr Bluebell looked at me and smiled!!" "Yes dear, I'll call the school tomorrow and put and end to that crap!!"
If the kid,ANYONE's kid, is being a nuisance on a bus to the point the driver can't pay 100% attention to the job at hand, then the driver should be empowered to do what needs to be done to ensure the safety of the other 59 kids on that bus.

I'm leaning towards her side. My daughter has always said what a nice bus driver she is and has even made her holiday crafts. Because of what my daughter has told me, I believe she is a good driver. I just don't want her running amock, but I don't think she would.baileydog said:I almost always on the side of the driver.
I thought so.. and I don't know how they would do it here with the busses being privately owned. Would it be the bus owners or the school that would rotate the cameras in and out. I know when it started in PA the trouble on the busses went to NIL.. they had all of three cameras, but the kids never knew which bus the camera was on.baileydog said:They are.....but there isnt always a working camera inside. Faking them out does work sometimes.
As if they'd crate the dog.kwillia said:Don't blame her kids... you know very well the daycare they had to deal with prior to being old enough to go to school...
